Supporting parents and leaders to thrive – so your business can too

About Lucy Chaplin.

creating a world where it’s easy to thrive at work

Career transitions are defining moments for both people and organisations.

When women return from maternity leave, confidence and priorities often shift. Without the right support, organisations risk disengagement and the loss of experienced talent.
Leadership transitions carry similar challenges. As roles evolve and demands increase, leaders can struggle in isolation—impacting teams, performance, and culture.

This is where I can help.

I’m Lucy and as a trusted partner for SME leaders and HR Directors, I coach leaders and women navigating their return to work and the difficult early years as a working parent.  I’ve experienced myself how hard it can be to return to work, lead a business and build a career with a family, and I’ve also seen the effect it can have on the careers of so many women.

As an experienced coach, I support leaders and women who want enjoy their roles with a feeling of confidence, make an impact and maintain their wellbeing.

My coaching has been described as ‘amazing’, ‘life changing’, ‘warm’ and ‘nurturing’.   I have a client-centred approach, combining my natural deep empathy with practical tools and strategies so that women are equipped to do their best work.

I’ve been a working parent for most of my career and when I’m not at work you’ll probably find me with my nose in a book or out in the countryside with our dog!

The Grace O’Malley-Kumar Foundation

“The Grace O’Malley-Kumar Foundation is dedicated to reflecting the love and kindness that Grace shared with the world. Grace believed in inclusion, always ensuring that no one felt left out. Our mission is to bring that same spirit into classrooms and on sports fields, so no child ever feels alone. “Let’s all strive to be more like Grace.

Rwanda Action

Rwanda Action’s mission is to relieve poverty in Rwanda by empowering communities. We work closely with local and national government to identify the most pressing challenges and then trial solutions to those challenges that are so effective they are adopted and developed by the government. This gives us a considerable and lasting impact.

The Barnaby Webber Foundation has two purposes.

The first to provide support and inclusion for young people aged 18 and under who are facing life challenges (be it physical, mental, emotional or social). This may be through other charities, schools or organisations but can also be directly to an individual or family.

Secondly, the foundation will support grassroots cricket clubs through the provision of essential equipment and items needed to encourage young boys and girls (aged 18 and under) to get involved in playing cricket.
